The combination of one of my favorite film moments and one of my favorite artists produces one of my favorite designs. As one who has seen the movie it just makes sense - it is the perfect way to replicate the moment on paper. Utter simplicity and clarity in this illustration leaves one pondering- Why has no one ever thought of this before? The creator, Olly Moss uses the medium of paper itself to complete the design serving as the surrounding that the splintered door would accomplish in the film. This alone is a clear trait of a resourceful and clever artist. He has one of the most original styles that highly appeals to my taste. So I will be reviewing a good amount of his design gems in later posts.
